There are few in the UK music scene (if not the world) with a voice and a vision such as saintnashe’s. Saying he makes one style of music is nigh impossible; being hard to define is a part of his vision.
Young and talented “saintnashe” is a British-Zimbabwean rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer (among many other things). Born in Berkshire, England, he has been writing lyrics since the age of 8.
Combining elements from a plethora of musical inspirations, he tends to produce and write a unique variant of UK Rap. The uncoined genre UK Trapsoul is the best way to describe it, with him crooning his rhythmic love letters over emotional backing tracks. His mid-2024 track, “MATURE”, is a good example of this.
On the flip side, his early-2024 track “TOO PHONEY” is an unapologetically boastful 808-heavy symphony of UK Drill and sampled 90’s music.
saintnashe has had many false starts through streaming platforms, but definitively he got his start when a sheet of his lyrics was shared throughout the school. This sheet would end up becoming the lyrics to his first ever self-produced release, Dreams (now deleted).
He is currently working on his next project, predicted to release in early 2025.
